Music City Minute: Florida Georgia Line, Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton

Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife had their third child last Thursday. Atlas Roy Hubbard was born at 6:44pm in Nashville, weighing in at 8 lbs., 2 ox., and measuring 21 inches. The name is Atlas has special meaning for the family, “Atlas stands for strength” and his middle name Roy is after Tyler’s late father who passed away when Tyler was 20. Carrie Underwood released her first-ever holiday album, My Gift on Friday — she also went to Target to purchase a copy. She captioned the photo on her Instagram, “per tradition had to go buy the CD at the store! As not per tradition, I had to wear a mask!”

In addition to the album we’ll also get a seasonal TV special from Carrie Underwood and HBO Max is also on the way! The special will include a live orchestra and choir performing traditional Christmas favorites that celebrate the spiritual nature of the holiday.


Chris Stapleton released a new song Friday called “Cold” that’s all about breaking up and heartache. It will be on Chris’s album that comes out November 13, 2020.
