Both Morris and Hurd revealed their happy news on Instagram on Sunday: Morris shared three photos of the couple, her new engagement ring prominently on display, with the caption “Yes” and a ring emoji.

Around the same time, Ryan shared a picture of the couple in a motorboat on a lake; it’s captioned “7/3/17,” leading commenters to believe that the couple got engaged on July 3.

Both Morris and Hurd are singer-songwriters signed to Sony Music Nashville. The two met in 2013 during a songwriting session, when they were randomly put together to write; during that session, they penned “Last Turn Home,” which Tim McGraw recorded.
