Monday afternoon, SeaWorld San Antonio released a video on Facebook of the Beluga sonogram. The whales have been trained to rest comfortable and hold still, so they can be tended to and examined by veterinarians. This allowed the veterinarians to record an amazingly clear sonogram of a Beluga whale fetus in utero!
SeaWorld is very excited for this development, and will keep up updated as they provide around the clock care for the baby Beluga!
