Music City Minute: Carrie Underwood, Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown

Isn’t it nice to hear about celebrity marriages that are doing well?  In a recent interview Carrie Underwood said she and Mike Fisher have gotten even closer during the pandemic. She pointed to one moment in particular.

She said, "He kind of summed it up one night. We were a couple of months in and had been very much in quarantine just with each other [and] he said, ‘You know what? I like you.’ I was like, ‘What does that mean? You like me?’

“He was like, ‘I know I love you… we’ve been married ten years this year and have two kids together. But this experience has shown me I like you, too.’”

Then she left him hanging. Just kidding. She added, “I said, ‘I like you, too.’”

Speaking of Carrie she opened three pop-up shops selling her CALIA brand activewear. They’re in Nashville, Santa Monica, and in Austin at The Domain… they’ll be open until the end of the year.

Kelsea Ballerini posted a clip of herself dressed as Reese Witherspoon’s character Elle Woods from “Legally Blonde. She re-enacted Elle’s signature “bend and snap” move when picking something up from the floor. She did it so well that Reese reTweeted it and wrote “Works every time honey!”

Kane Brown will be performing at halftime of the Thanksgiving Day game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Football Team. Kane’s performance will be kicking off The Salvation Army 2020 Red Kettle Campaign.
