Music City Minute: Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line

Taylor Swift is heading back to country radio! Big Machine Label Group has just serviced the song "New Year's Day" from Taylor's new album, Reputation, to country radio stations nationwide, causing a lot of excitement in the format. Earlier this week, Swift gave an emotional performance of "New Year's Day" on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on what was Fallon's first night back following the death of his mother on November 4. The moving performance can be seen here:

Thomas Rhett and Maren Morris have both earned spots on Forbes' annual "30 Under 30" list, which recognizes the most influential figures from 20 separate industries all under 30 years old. Maren and Thomas make the list in the "Music" category, with the publication acknowledging their respective chart successes as well as many accolades. Rhett and Morris, both 27, join an all-star list of game changers in the music world, including pop star Bebe Rexha, Christian singer Lauren Daigle and Paramore's lead vocalist, Hayley Williams.

Carrie Underwood's husband, Mike Fisher, has penned a heartfelt 'thank you' to everyone who's sent Carrie love and support after she broke her wrist in a fall at her Nashville-area home last week. Mike said he's reminded that there are so many good people in this world and also referenced the Bible verse Romans 8:28, writing, "I'm reminded that through our pain, fears and tough times God is with us and He's painting a beautiful story through it all." He then wrote, "Sometimes it's hard to understand why things happen but we thank him and Praise His name in the midst of it all!"

Earlier this week, Carrie tweeted that she underwent wrist surgery on Tuesday and is "doing great."

The Country Music Hall of Fame has opened their new "Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Mississippi Woman, Louisiana Man" exhibit. You can see samples of the memorabilia and check out video clips by going to CountryMusicHallOfFame.org. The exhibit runs through June 10th.

Speaking of Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. Their tour documentary "Tim & Faith: Soul 2 Soul" is debuting tonight on Showtime.

Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha played "Meant to Be" on "The Late Late Show" last night and it was awesome!

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were on the Jimmy Fallon show last night and they played a game called "Search Party" where Faith Hill teamed up with Jimmy and they faced off against Tim McGraw and The Roots in a race to fill in the blank for random Internet search results for queries like "What do country singers always sing about?" Their tour documentary "Tim & Faith: Soul 2 Soul" is debuting tonight on Showtime at 8!
