Music City Minute: News on Alabama, Kelsea Ballerini, & Kenny Chesney!

It's September so why not talk about Christmas! Alabama announced they're coming out with a holiday album called American Christmas, October 6th! The 15-track album marks the band's first holiday release in 21 years, following their 1996 project, Alabama Christmas Vol. II.

The new album will be a collection of holiday favorites such as "Away In A Manger" and "Silent Night" as well as four new songs contributed by the band. The album also includes an updated version of Alabama's classic "Christmas In Dixie," which celebrates its 35th Anniversary this year.

Kelsea Ballerini’s bachelorette party went down over the weekend in Vegas! She saw Jennifer Lopez perform, they took a selfie together, and then Kelsea and her friends hung out at the pool.

Let's start with the plane ride. She posted a clip of herself hamming it up in the aisle and imitating Kristen Wiig's character in "Bridesmaids" where she says, "I'm ready to party with the best of them."

Two brothers who were stuck in Hurricane Irma were rescued and flown to safety in a private jet, provided by an anonymous donor… who turned out to be Kenny Chesney. So much for staying anonymous… CNN reporter Sara Sidner is the one who did this report, and presumably used public records about the plane to connect it to Kenny. These two brothers lived on the island of St. John with their grandfather, and their house was destroyed. Kenny provided his plane to reunite them with their mother in Philadelphia.
