Music City Minute: Miranda Lambert, Kesha, Garth Brooks

Miranda Lambert is switching it up a little! She's featured on a new version of Green Day's "Ordinary World", which is on their new greatest hits collection that just came out on Friday.

I thought this was interesting… you know the show "CMT Crossroads"? They're known for bringing artists together from different genres like Florida Georgia Line and the Backstreet Boys. This time they're bringing together Old Crow Medicine Show and Kesha. It'll debut December 6th.

Garth Brooks went on the Ellen show yesterday and talked more about lip-synching at the CMA Awards. He compared award shows to Christmas trees, saying they're both symbolic. It's what happens between him and his fans that matters.

He said, "What it's all about are the people who put their butts in the seat, fight that traffic, pay that parking. That's who you want to save your voice for. If it happened again tomorrow, I'd make the same decision." Check out the video below, skip to 1:46.
