Ya’ll Lauren Alaina has a new man just four months after breaking off her engagement. She’s been dating comedian John Crist since February and they actually connected through a really uncommon way, Instagram!

Her new boyfriend had no idea who she was, he only really knows country music like Garth Brooks and Luke Bryan and that’s about it. The only thing people are talking about is how John Crist is 11 years older than Lauren, he’s 35, she’s 24, but I can’t blame the girl, older men have their stuff together and she’s definitely more mature from growing up in the music industry.

John said, "I'm 35, her mom is 45, and she's 24," Crist says (per People), "so I'm closer to her mom's age than her. When she and her mom are arguing about stuff I'm literally in the middle like, 'Actually your mom makes some good points.'"

CMT announced its first round of performers for the CMT Awards next month on June 5th. Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris and Thomas Rhett are a great first group of artists. 
More performers will be announced over the next few days in what CMT is calling a "record-breaking number of performances." The show will be hosted by Little Big Town June 5th at 7!
