Music City Minute: FGL, Tyler Farr, Maren Morris, Eric Church, Military Appreciation Month

A big Happy Birthday to Eric Church he turns 41 today!

A little fun fact about Tyler Hubbard from Florida Georgia Line, he’s 31, which is still pretty young. But not so young that he can pound down the whiskey without paying for it the next day. He says, "I'm drinking less. I don't know what's happening.

He says, "I feel like I'm not a partier anymore. In our 20s, we could drink half a bottle of whiskey and wake up fine, but nowadays it doesn't work like that anymore. I like to try and feel good."

The subject came up because he and Brian Kelley have teamed up with the USO to launch a “Patriot Pack” version of their Old Camp Whiskey. They released a limited edition bottle of their Old Camp Whiskey for Military Appreciation Month, which will help support military families in partnership with the USO.

Speaking of Military Appreciaton Month some of our favorite country artists will perform at the Grand Ole Opry for a Salute the Troops Special. Trace Adkins, Craig Morgan, Kellie Pickler, and Darius Rucker are some of the artists performing May 22nd. There will be two shows. Craig says, "My fellow artists and I are very excited to shake as many family members' hands as we can, say thank you, and offer some of our songs in salute."

Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

A big concert announcement – Tyler Farr will be at Cowboys July 7th tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am! Here’s his latest song “Love By The Moon”

Maren Morris posted a clip of herself doing an unplugged version of "The Middle" and captioned it "Five Weeks Number One." So naturally she's got to be proud! We'll see her tomorrow night at Gruene Hall for a sold out show, and if you still need tickets we have a pair, plus meet & greets coming up at 8:25 today and tomorrow!
