It was a weekend of love in country music! Carly Pearce and Michael Ray tied the knot about 15 miles north of downtown Nashville at Drakewood Farm, a venue that features a 19th-center mansion, three barns and a pavilion.
The vibe Carly was going for was earthy, whimsical, and romantic elements of country. They wanted an outdoor wedding, but the weather didn’t cooperate. It rained all day and they ended up getting married inside one of the farm’s charming barns.
Her gown was stunning! Carly wore an nontraditional gown featuring a high neckline, full-length sleeves, and a short pencil skirt covered in a full-length piece of sheer lace. They exchanged vows they wrote themselves in front of 100 of their closest family and friends.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed some fun food stations like shrimp and grits, and build-your-own burgers, as well as a “naked” wedding cake with a small amount of chocolate frosting and vanilla cake.

Another Nashville wedding happened between American Idol alums Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner right here in Texas! They married in front of 100 guests in Garrison at the Union Springs venue. Gabby who is originally from Pennsylvania said they decided on Texas because that’s where Cade is from. They loved the peacefulness of the venue and how it was in a private area down some dirt roads.
Their rustic theme was brought to life with colors of plum and blush.
Gabby's gown was a sweetheart neckline style with off the shoulder straps and full of lace. They wrote their own vows and treated their guests to food options ranging from Mexican to American and of course enjoyed lots of cake!
