For the 25th straight week, Sam Hunt’s ‘Body Like A Back Road’ topped Billboard’s Hot Country Songs. The previous record was held by Florida Georgia Line with their single, “Cruise” back in  2013. The Billboard Hot Country charts is based on radio airplay, streaming, and sales. ‘Body Like A Back Road’ is the third most downloaded song in 2017 and the most downloaded in country music.

Sam has given no official timetable as to when his highly-anticipated sophomore album will release stating, “I did that for four years, and it was fruitful as far as my career goes, but everything else in my life had to be put on hold, and I’m just not willing to do that for years and years at a time.”
