Garth Brooks shut down tickets sales for his Utah show, after the sale became overrun by bots.

Garth has been announcing his show stops in an unconventional way- only revealing the next tour stop city a few weeks before the show, and only adding additional shows in each city after the previous stop sells out. This strategy was put in place to circumvent bots, and it had been working pretty well until tickets went on sale for his 3rd show in Salt Lake City.

Garth posted a plea to lawmakers:

“If the powers that be are not going to make scalping illegal, can you please make bot activity during on sales illegal? It’s just not fair for the REAL person.”
