Icy conditions on the road remain a factor this morning when traveling, so a lot of school and businesses are starting with a two hour delay. Here’s the current list of closings and delays:
The Alamo Colleges District will open at normal time on Wednesday.
Alamo Heights ISD
All AHISD Schools and Offices will be open today with the exception of Howard Early Childhood Center. The heating system for most of Howard went out yesterday evening. Our staff has worked tirelessly through the night to repair it.
Bandera ISD will have a two-hour delay tomorrow, Jan. 17, with classes beginning at noon. Buses will pick students up two hours later than normal.
Blanco ISD classes will be delayed 2 hours on Wednesday.
Boerne ISD will delay start times 2 hours Wednesday morning. Out of an abundance of caution for our students and staff - including those in outlying hill country areas - this decision is consistent with what is known currently about projected weather and road conditions. Safety is our top priority. Please drive safely on your way to school Wednesday. Elementary start: 9:45 a.m. Middle and High School start: 10:50 a.m.

Comal ISD schools will run on a two-hour delay. Elementary school classes will begin at 9:4 a.m. Middle school classes will begin at 10:45 a.m. Buses will pick up students two hours later than normal. All morning Pre-K and PPCD classes will be cancelled. Afternoon classes will run on regular schedule. Tuition-based, full-day Pre-K will also follow the two-hour delay schedule.
Concordia Lutheran School
CLS will return to normal school hours on Wednesday and the Child Care Center will also be open.
Cuero ISD will start school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. If school is canceled, parents will receive an automated call, email, and posting on the district's Facebook page by 8 a.m.
D'Hanis ISD will be open on Wednesday, but classes will start two hours late.
EPISD will be open Wednesday but will have a delayed entry. Click HERE for more info.
ECISD will return to normal class schedules on Jan. 17 and all offices will be open.
EISD will be open and classes will resume at normal time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Floresville ISD will delay school 2 hours on Wednesday. Head to the FISD website for more details.
FSHISD will return to normal hours of operation Jan. 17 and classes will resume as normal. If there are any changes, announcements will be made at www.fshisd.net.
GWISD will start school at 10 a.m. on Wednesday and will end at 3:30 p.m. Buses will run on a two-hour delay.
As a precautionary measure due to weather conditions, Goliad ISD will have a late start Wednesday, January 17. Classes will begin at 10:00 am.
Buses will depart 2 hours later than normal for their morning routes.
GISD will be CLOSED on Wednesday. For more information, click here.
HISD will be open Wednesday and classes will resume at normal time.
Harmony Public Schools and offices will open at normal time on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Hondo ISD will resume classes on Wednesday, but will be delayed by two hours. Buses will also run on a two-hour delay.
JISD will start school at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17. Buses will also run with a two-hour delay.
Jubilee Academies Charter District
JACD will resume classes Wednesday at 10 a.m.
Judson ISD schools and offices will be open on Wednesday, Jan. 17 and will follow regular schedule.
Karnes City I.S.D. has cancelled school and all activities for all staff and students on Tuesday, January 16th due to predicted weather conditions.
Classes have been cancelled for students also on Wednesday, January 17th. Staff will report on Wednesday from 8:30 am.
La Vernia ISD
LVISD offices and schools will be open at normal start time on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Buses will run as normal as well.
School will start at 10 a.m. and buses will run two hours later than normal on Wednesday.
Luling ISD will be open but on a two-hour delay on Wednesday. Buses will also run two hours later than normal.
Classes and buses will run on a two-hour delayed schedule.
MISD classes will start later than normal on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Classes will begin at 10 a.m. and buses will run 2 hours and 20 minutes later than normal.
Medina Valley ISD
MVISD classes and buses will have a two-hour delay Wednesday.
Montessori School International
MSI will open at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Navarro ISD classes, buses offices will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday.
New Braunfels ISD
NBISD will return to normal operations on Wednesday. Athletic acitivities that have not already been canceled will be held.
NSCISD will NOT have school on Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to the weather. This includes the DAEP campus. However, all staff will need to report to their campuses at noon. All athletic games will continue as normal.
NEISD will hold classes at NORMAL time Wednesday, Jan. 17.
NISD will return to normal class time tomorrow. Any changes will be announced via its website and social media pages.
Our Lady of the Lake University
The OLLU San Antonio campus will open at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Morning classes are cancelled. Offices will open at noon and afternoon classes will run on a regular schedule.
PISD will delay school 2 hours on Wednesday. All bus routes will also run two hours later than normal. Click here for more info.
PISD will have a two-hour delay on Wednesday. There will be no breakfast served, but lunch will be served at the normal time. Staff will need to report to their campuses at 9:30 a.m.
Pre-K 4 SA
All Pre-K 4 SA locations will be open at regular hours Wednesday.
Providence Catholic School
PCS classes will still be on for Wednesday, Jan. 17 but will be delayed until 10 a.m.
RISD will be on a two-hour delay tomorrow. For more info, click here for the district website.
Sabinal ISD will resume classes Wednesday, Jan. 17, but will be on a 2-hour delay with classes starting at 9:45 a.m.
San Antonio ISD
SAISD will return to normal class time tomorrow. If anything changes, announcements will be made before 6 a.m.
San Felipe Del Rio CISD
Schools and administrative offices will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16. The plan is to resume regularly scheduled classes on Wednesday, Jan. 17.
San Marcos Academy
SMA will be open two hours later than normal on Wednesday.
Saint Mary's Hall will hold classes starting at noon on Wednesday. Head to their website for more info.
Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD
SCUCISD will return to normal school plans tomorrow, Jan. 17. Staff will be out at 4:30 a.m. to inspect the roads and if anything changes, an announcement will be made by 5 a.m. and posted to the district's website and social media pages.
Seguin ISD offices and schools will be CLOSED on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Students will not need to make up the day.
Classes will start at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Buses will run two hours later than normal and staff will need to report to campuses at 9:30 a.m.
Somerset ISD will resume classes at normal time Wednesday.
SISD will be open Wednesday and classes will resume at normal times on Wednesday.
Southwest ISD will return to normal class time Wednesday.
Southwest Prep in San Antonio will be open at normal time on Wednesday, however, SWPS in Seguin will be closed due to the weather.
South San ISD
SSISD schools and offices will be open Wednesday with normal start times.
Stockdale ISD will have a two hours delay Wednesday, Jan. 17 due to the inclement weather. Follow the district's website for more info.
St. Mary's University
StMU Weather Alert: Campus will open for normal operations at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, because of the possibility of icy roads in the morning. Classes will resume at 11:20 a.m.
Texas A&M University
All classes will return to normal operations Wednesday morning.
Trinity University: will delay the start of classes and opening of offices on Wednesday. The campus will open at 11 a.m. Mabee Hall and Coates University Center will open and resume normal food service from 8 a.m. to 8
UIW: Weather Alert: Icy conditions continue in our area. Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing into the morning. All SA UIW locations & clinics will delay the start of the day on Weds. Jan 17 for all students & employees until noon.
UT Austin: The university expects to proceed with normal operations tomorrow, but the Campus Safety and Security Office asks that you carefully assess your route and road conditions before coming to campus.
UTSA: All UTSA campuses will delay opening until noon on Wednesday, Jan. 17. Classes resume at that time. Use caution when determining whether to drive since road conditions may vary across the region. Safety first.
