Imagineers have been busy designing and creating rides like Alien Swirling Saucers, where riders climb into flying saucers, accompanied by the little green men and they spin across the floor.

A third track will be available on the popular Toy Story Mania shooting game/ride that has been a park staple since 2008, park officials said.

Finally, the centerpiece of the new land riders can climb into Slinky Dog and race through the park on Slinky Dog Dash coaster.

Food won’t be an issue in the new themed land either with Woody’s Lunch Box, according to Walt Disney World officials, which looks just like a classic metal lunch box that will be a quick service location that creates “tasty meals and old-fashioned soda floats.”

Disney’s ‘Elsa’ helps to make birthday magical when girls’ guests are no-shows

Leyana had planned her birthday to a T. She even picked the right outfit. Then, the waiting began. Despite handing out invitations to everyone in Leyana’s class, no one showed up for the first-grader’s party, except for the actress who was hired to portray Elsa from Disney’s “Frozen.”

Now, Lindsay Robert, who has been dressing up as Elsa and appearing at birthday parties, has reached out on Facebook to tell Leyana’s story.

"It was soul crushing. When I open the door, I’m used to all the kids running up to me. But she was just all by herself. Just looking down. Just so sad and she just launched herself into my arms,” Robert told KDVR.

During the time  she was scheduled to arrive, there was supposed to be a house-full of kids. But it was only Leyana so she and Robert danced, sang and formed a friendship, KDVR reported.

“I wasn’t kidding when I told you that every princess is smart and brave and kind, and you are all those things,” Robert told Leyana while KDVR videotaped the pair’s reunion.

Robert took to Facebook to tell Leyana’s heartbreaking story. Not only is she sending a fairy garden to the little girl, “Because Elsa will never let you down,” she also visited Leyana with her “sister,” an actress playing Anna, and is planning another surprise for the 7-year-old.

All aboard: Disney Cruise Line looks for workers to man its ship kid clubs

The positions are for any of the four Disney ships: the Wonder, Magic, Fantasy or Dream, and Disney’s private Bahamian island, the Liverpool Echo reported.

That’s why she wore Shaylin’s ashes inside a cross necklace.

But, on Sunday, the pendant was lost as Chastity Foster ran in the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Orlando.

Foster, a teacher from Augusta, Georgia, told ABC News she was hesitant to wear the cross pendant necklace with Shaylin's ashes because it means so much to her, but she wanted her daughter to be there with her as she ran even if she wasn't there physically.

Shaylin was a high school senior who had been accepted into college to become a biomechanical engineer with the dream of creating prosthetics for children, the mother told ABC.

Foster’s 13.1-mile trek through the Magic Kingdom and Epcot theme parks paid homage to the teen daughter who had registered to participate before she died Jan. 10, the mother said on Facebook

“She was signed up, had a costume and was ready to run,” Chastity Foster said. “Her father took her spot and even wore her costume.”

Chastity Foster believes she lost the priceless necklace containing Shaylin's ashes between the Magic Kingdom parking entrance toll area and where the princes stood.

Recently, McDonald’s announced adjustments in its products and now meets the guidelines including removal of artificial preservatives from Chicken McNuggets and making sure it’s serving chicken not treated with antibiotics.

‘Coco’ Oscars win brings emotional response on Twitter

While only a movie for many, and now an Oscar-winning one at that, the animated Pixar movie “Coco” was so much more for some filmgoers.

And the film, which shows the importance of family and the history that surrounds us, is shining a spotlight on a community, or a culture, that that rarely gets put on the big screen.

“Coco” follows the story of Miguel as he travels through the land of the dead during the celebration Dia de los Muertos. Miguel believes he’s the grandson of the famous singer Ernesto de la Cruz, but in reality, he’s related to the soon-to-be-forgotten Hector.

During Sunday’s Oscars, the film not only won for best animated feature film, it also took home the statue for the theme song “Remember Me,” The Associated Press reported.

The actor who voiced Miguel, Anthony Gonzalez, accepted the best feature film award speaking to Latino-American viewers, “Muchisimas gracias a todos y que viva Mexico!” or in English “Many thanks to everyone and long live Mexico!”

Viewers who fell in love with the movie, went to Twitter during the broadcast to cheer on and thank the filmmakers, KSAT reported

Meanwhile, the writer of the song “Remember Me” has made entertainment history. Robert Lopez, who wrote the song with his wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez became the first double EGOT winner in history, CNBC reported. He has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards not once, twice. Only 12 entertainers have ever won all four awards one time in their careers, Whoopi Goldberg, Mel Brooks and Rita Moreno. Lopez is the only person to repeat the feat. He was also the youngest when he scored the Oscar for “Let it Go” from “Frozen” in 2014, CNBC reported.

He won his Tony awards for “The Book of Mormon” and “Avenue Q,” Grammys for “Book of Mormon” and “Frozen” and Daytime Emmy awards for “Wonder Pets,” Entertainment Weekly reported.
