The Randy Rogers Band has canceled its Friday concerts at John T. Floore Country Store in Helotes because of a new limit on crowd sizes in response to a spike in COVID-19 cases here.
The band was scheduled to play two shows tomorrow. They would have been the first concerts by a big-name performer in the San Antonio area since music venues closed in March as part of the effort to slow the spread of COVID-19.
On Tuesday, San Antonio and Bexar County updated their emergency ordinances to limit outdoor gatherings to 100 people.
Earlier this week Eric Church teased a new song called “Stick That In Your Country Song” that shares Eric’s take on the current state of the world. The song is a rallying cry for cities from Detroit to Baltimore and people from young military veterans to school teachers.
Lauren Alaina will release a new version of "Getting Good" tomorrow... and this one will be a duet with Trisha Yearwood. She posted a brief teaser on Twitter, and said, "I never could've imagined that this 'YEAR WOULD' give me the opportunity to release a duet with one of my favorite singers of all time."
