Music City Minute: Keith Urban, Luke Combs, Carly Pearce

Keith Urban’s new album “The Speed of Now Part 1” is out today and this is how he came up with the name of the album. He said, “You know, the speed of now is very different to what it was last year when this title came to me. It was just a comment on how out of control I felt everything was feeling. Everywhere I went in the world, I just felt like people were going faster, moving faster and life was going fast...just everything was insane. And I just thought, 'Gosh, the speed of now is just...I don’t know what’s happening, or how long we can sustain it. I remember thinking that very clearly, like, 'How long can we go at this pace?”

Keith Urban’s also doing an acoustic performance on Zoom to celebrate – so make sure you’re listening all weekend to win exclusive access to that plus a digital download code for Keith’s new album “The Speed of Now Part 1.”

Luke Combs new song “Without You” is out! It’s one of the 5 new songs that will be on his deluxe album coming out October 30th. The sentimental song is all about thanking everyone who’s important in his life and make him who he is.

He dedicated the song to his parents, wife, and fans. There’s a special part in the song that really shows his gratitude for everyone that comes to his shows.

Carly Pearce is dropping knowledge for all ladies out there – in her new song “Next Girl” she talks about how you have to watch out for those red flags and make sure you don’t ignore them. She went on to give an example of those red flags, “Sometimes guys hide who they are for a while, and I think that’s the scariest.  It’s like, ‘Whatever you want, whatever you want to do.’  Feeding into your world.  You gotta make sure [because] you don’t really know somebody at first.”
