Music City Minute: Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood

Like most of us Jason Aldean said the pandemic has put him in “weird place.” He’s used to jumping on his tour bus every Wednesday… doing a bunch of shows… and then coming home on Sunday.

But there are benefits to being home all the time. He enjoys going to his kids' ballgames, and he loves putting them to bed at night. There’s also a lot more time to space-out in front of the TV.

He said, “We’re big binge-watchers. Brittany talked me into watching ‘Love Island’ which I love, like, crappy reality shows.”

They also fell under the spell of “Joe Exotic”… so when he was asked what he’d like to dress up as this Halloween, that’s where he went.

Jason said, “One of my ideas was for me to go as Joe Exotic, her to go as Carole Baskin, and then the two kids as tigers. So, we’ll see how that works out. I’ll see what she comes up with, that’s my idea.”

Speaking of Jason, he took a trip to Disney in Orlando this weekend and they both shared and adorable family photo on their Instagrams. The entire family is there and no one wore masks so naturally there are people hating on the photo. Brittany captioned hers with “only took masks off for pic” and Jason’s mentioned, “had mask on ALLLLLLL DAAAAAAAYY except when we took this pic” but of course people are still going ham.

The video is out for Miranda Lambert’s song “Settling Down” and her husband Brendan is the co-star. It shows Miranda whimsically riding a horse through a field, Brendan is wearing a velvet suit at times in the video, they are also seen all cuddled up together in a hammock, and of course there’s a scene where Brendan is shirtless. It’s a beautiful video though!

Garth Brooks is supposed to have his album preview event today after an accident on his farm. Last week he wore a glove on his left hand and apologized for the delay. Garth and Trisha are going to sing their new single “Shallow” – yes from “A Star is Born.” You can check that out tonight at 6pm on the Inside Studio G session on Garth’s Facebook.
