Music City Minute: The Voice, Tim McGraw

The Voice Blind Auditions continued last night and things started to heat up between the judges. Kelly Clarkson was very vocal about how she wanted a country female on her team, but it seemed like Blake was always stealing them from her.

One of those arguments began with 19-year-old Rachel Messer, she sang the most country version ever of LeeAnn Rimes “I Want to be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” and pretty much melted everyone’s hearts.

Of course, her yodeling in the song was on point too!

Another fight began over 16-year-old Chevel Shepard, in her story she talked about how she was 4’10 and a firecracker who works on cars with her Dad. She belted out The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young” and got three chair turns including Blake and Kelly. Blake then tried to sell her on picking him and found out they had the same birthday! He surely thought he had it in the bag, and then Kelly Clarkson had some convincing words, and she went with her.

Yesterday we told you about Tim McGraw’s tweet that concerned some fans that said, "I Need Jesus Or I Need Whiskey”.

Then yesterday he put up a phone number and captioned it, "I'll text you back." The number was: 615-205-5687.

Of course, that's not his personal number, it's part of an automated service. But if you call the number, it says the mailbox is full, but then you get an automated response.

The message says, "Hey it's Tim, this is an autotext to let you know I got your text, everything else will be coming directly from me or my team. I've got some pretty cool things happening this week, so make sure you add yourself to my phone to stay in touch."

No word yet on what he's promoting, but I think most fans have assumed it has something to do with new music.
