Music City Minute: Luke Bryan, Tim & Faith, Midland, Kenny Chesney

As a snow storm headed for Nashville on Monday night, Luke Bryan sat his boys down to share some pretty exciting news with them. In a video posted on Instagram, Luke told his sons and their friends that school had been canceled yesterday and their response is priceless. The video begins with Luke gathering the boys on the couch to tell them the happy news and ends with them jubilantly jumping and screaming to celebrate another day off of school.

Speaking of snow fun – Tim McGraw and Faith Hill recently had a snow day of their own! Faith posted an adorable shot of herself and Tim having a no-holds-barred snowball fight! Then of course they followed it up with the cutest post ever of them kissing.

Midland came on the scene pretty fast last year, and even picked up two Grammy nominations along the way. Quick success like that always brings out the haters. One critic actually accused them of not paying their dues.

That didn't sit well with singer Mark Wystrach. He said, "[That] guy has never seen us live. We take the greatest pride in our ability to play live and to deliver an incredible show.

"And, that's not something that you can fake. You can't fake a live Honky-Tonk or Rock 'n' Roll or Country show. That's something that we've worked at, and it's genuine. That's all we care about.

"Anybody who wants to try to make up falsities about us, come and see us live. Period. That's it."

And you can do that at the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo February 11th! Here they are at our Y100 Bud Light 8 Man Jam:

Kenny Chesney is leaving his label home of more than 20 years, Sony Music Nashville, to sign with Warner Music Nashville, we found out yesterday.

There is no word yet on why he decided to make the label change, nor any word on plans for an album after Cosmic Hallelujah, that came out in 2016. He'll join such artists as Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Cole Swindell, and Chris Janson.
