Music City Minute: Chris Janson, ACM Awards, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw & Blake & Gwen

Last night, Chris Janson was made an official member of the Grand Ole Opry with on onstage induction by non-other that Garth Brooks. Before the induction, Chris talked backstage at the Opry about the night's honor:

(Chris Janson) "I don't think you'll ever in your lifetime see a person who's more excited to be a part of an organization like the Grand Ole Opry than I am. Loved it since the very beginning, I'd love it tonight if I was just a guest artist here and was never a member. I would still love it that much. I grew up knowing what this was an it's an institution that's world renowned."

The list of performers at the upcoming ACM Awards has grown with the addition of Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban to the star-studded lineup. These artists will join previously announced performers Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Bebe Rexha and Thomas Rhett when the 53rd annual ceremony airs from Las Vegas on April 15. Additional performers will be revealed in the coming weeks.

In addition to the new performers being added to the show, it was also announced that New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees, Entertainment Tonight host Nancy O'Dell, actress Rebecca Romijn and Olympic Alpine Skier Lindsey Vonn have been added as presenters for the night.

The 53rd ACM Awards, hosted by Reba, will broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15 at 7:00 PM on CBS.

Miranda Lambert is gearing up for the release of "Keeper of the Flame," the fourth radio single off her Platinum-certified, double album, The Weight Of These Wings. Penned by Lambert, Natalie Hemby and Liz Rose, the new single "Keeper of the Flame" is scheduled to hit country radio on April 16. The song is clearly special to Miranda, as prior to the release of The Weight Of These Wings, she actually named her 2016 trek the "Keeper Of The Flame Tour."

Most of Gwen Stefani's family members have already given Blake Shelton the seal of approval, but now he's getting a ringing endorsement from her 90-year-old aunt, Donna. While celebrating her 90th birthday at a recent party, Gwen's aunt made it clear that she hopes Blake is her niece's life to stay. In a video posted on Instagram, Donna can be heard telling Stefani, "Don't get rid of that wonderful boyfriend of yours." To which Gwen replied, "I'll try not to."

More than a week after collapsing onstage during a show in Ireland due to dehydration, Tim McGraw appears to be getting some much-needed therapy. A picture posted on McGraw's Instagram page shows the singer dressed in full snorkeling gear as he went spearfishing in some turquoise blue waters. The caption for the post simply read, "Hydrating!," a sign that Tim is fully recovered and back to his usual self.
