When Did You Start Your Career in Radio: I started off on the Y100 event crew in 2016 and have been on-air with Y100 since 2017.
Who Are Your Favorite Country Artists: I grew up on Texas Country, so I love Cody Johnson, Parker McCollum, Flatland Cavalry, and George Strait (but that’s a given). I also love Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers.
Best Concert You've Been To: It’s a tie! Either Willie Nelson at Floores Country Store – it doesn’t get more historic than that – or Kevin Fowler on New Year’s Eve at Cowboys Dancehall. Singing along to Beer, Bait and Ammo after the clock hit midnight is one of my favorite memories pretty much ever.
What Do You Do in Your Free Time: I moonlight as a stage actor around town. If you’ve seen The Magik Theatre’s A Charlie Brown Christmas the past few years, the actor playing Charlie Brown may look a little familiar… I also love playing guitar – I’m not joining the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame any time soon, but I could play a couple tunes around your campfire if you want!
What is Your Family Life Like: I love spending time with my girlfriend Sarah and our kitties Charlie and Jasper! We’re always exploring the Texas Hill Country and looking for the next great hike or brewery.
Favorite Things About SA: San Antonio is amazing! We all love the wide-open skies of Texas (and I’m sure we’ve all posted at least one picture of them – it’s almost a requirement at this point). I love the Hispanic culture here – tons of great food, festivals, and music. And I also love that it rarely gets below freezing here, because I can barely function in temperatures below 50 degrees.
Anything Else You Want To Share: I was born and raised right here in San Antonio – Louis D. Brandeis Class of 2012. Go Broncos!
