Goodwill San Antonio FREE Community Career Fair

Goodwill San Antonio is hosting a FREE Community Career Fair on Thursday, September 30, 2021. The event is being held from 10 am to 1 pm at the TriPoint Event Center located at 3233 N. St. Mary’s Street 78212. More than 50 employers seeking to fill hundreds of both full and part-time positions will be in attendance representing organizations in the banking, construction, customer service, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, logistics, and manufacturing industries. Positions have an average pay rate of $12.50 an hour. Job seekers are asked to register at http://bit.ly/GCCREG. Attendees should dress professionally bring an updated résumé and photo identification, and be prepared for on-site interviews. Celebrando 30 Años of the Guadalupe Dance Company Plaza Guadalupe 8PM

A weekend of celebratory festivities will begin with a special performance of Celebrando 30 años featuring the Guadalupe Dance Company and Mariachi Azteca de America on Friday, October 1, and Saturday, October 2 at 8pm. In-person tickets are available both days and there will be a live virtual ticket option on Friday, October 1. The evening will commemorate 30 years of dance, success, and evolution with repertoire staples and audience favorites from the Mexican states of Oaxaca, Guerrero, Jalisco, Veracruz, Tamaulipas, and Puebla.

The Guadalupe will be limiting capacity at 60%, masks are strongly encouraged, hand sanitization stations will be available, and please note entry will take a bit longer than usual as we will be administering temperature checks. Health officials said there is not enough blood on hand to treat trauma cases and patients who need emergency surgeries and procedures. The facilities are open during daylight hours.
