Tropical Storm Don And to the south it goes.... Tropical Storm Don is churning across the Gulf of Mexico toward far south Texas, carrying welcome rain for the agriculture-heavy southwestern's state's ranchers and farmers. Officials at the National Hurricane Center in Miami said Don is expected to produce rainfall of between three and five inches in south Texas and northeastern Mexico. With the storms shift to the south San Antonio is expected to receive only 1 - 2 inches.

The storm is expected to reach the coast late Friday or Saturday. With it expect some much needed rain over the weekend.
