And when he came to them on his own to admit what he had done, the couple admitted they didn't know what to do at first.
"This was not rape or anything like that, this was like touching somebody over their clothes," Jim Bob said.
Jim Bob and Michelle said their daughters had no idea Josh had inappropriately touched them until they were told what happened.
But they ultimately decided to remove Josh from their home to work in what they called an alternative rehabilitation program.
"I was saying, you know, Josh has done some very bad things, and he's, he's very sorry," Michelle said.
Jim Bob and Michelle said during the sit-down they have no idea if their family's show, "19 Kids and Counting," will be cancelled. But they plan to continue living their lives and move on, with or without the cameras. (Video via TLC / "19 Kids and Counting")
Even though Jim Bob and Michelle have spoken their piece, this Fox News exclusive is far from over.
