Two-part review of Semester-1 PrecalculusPrepNation's Final Exam Review Workshops offer students a lower-cost alternative to private tutoring sessions, while still giving them a detailed "refresher" of the material that will be on their final exam.
This 4-hour Precalculus workshop (two 2-hour sessions) includes a comprehensive review of Semester-1 curriculum for precalculus. During each group meeting, your child will be given detailed, specific examples of each problem type that is expected to be on his or her final exam. Your child will also be able to ask specific questions about the material, or request a more in-depth review of a given topic.
With a week between Parts I and II of the workshop, students will have an opportunity to practice and review everything that was covered during Part I, and be ready with questions for Part II.
This workshop is limited to 10 students, so reserve a seat today! FAQ'sQ: When will the workshop happen?A: This a two-part workshop:Part I - Tuesday, December 10 (6:30 - 8:30p)Part II - Sunday, December 15 (3:00 - 5:00p)Q: Where will the workshop happen?A: This workshop will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, located at 16320 Huebner Road.Q: Is this workshop right for my child?A: For most students, Final Exam Review Sessions are an excellent way to review class content from the past four months, with the guidance of an experienced, effective teacher. However, this workshop is not intended as a replacement for private tutoring sessions. If your child has missed a large portion of course content this semester, or has fallen significantly behind in class, private tutoring sessions may be a more appropriate way to address his or her needs. Not sure? Give us a call and we'll help. 512-466-0694Q: Does my child need to do anything to prepare for this workshop?A: We strongly encourage students to take a few minutes after registering to look over their past coursework (homework assignments, quizzes, tests) and identify any challenge areas that are a priority to ask about during the workshop. This helps to ensure that everyone gets the greatest benefit when they attend.Q: Will students be tested during the workshop?A: While we want to make sure students are prepared for final exam day, we will not test them during the workshop. In fact, these workshops are informal, Q&A based sessions, so students will have the opportunity to ask for examples and practice problems according to their specific needs. Everyone will get LOTS of practice though! :)
Q: Do you offer refunds?A: Yes. A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 72 hours before the workshop start date. After that date, no refunds will be given. For two-day workshops, the refund deadline is the date of the first group meeting.
Q: What happens if my son or daughter misses a workshop session?A: Unfortunately, each workshop is a one-time event, meaning there are no make-up dates available. If you find that you will not be able to make a scheduled workshop date, please be sure to cancel at least 72 hours before the start date to ensure you receive a refund. If you have a scheduling emergency and are past the refund deadline, please contact us (512-466-0694). We will do our best to get you notes or a recording of the workshop, so that you won't miss out entirely!
