Grand Hyatt San Antonio Invites Guests to Sit, Sip, and Stay a While!
People far and wide know that downtown San Antonio is a magical place during the Holidays and nobody knows it better than Santa himself. The big guy in red takes time out of his busy schedule every year to make an appearance at what has become a family-favorite, holiday tradition. Grand Hyatt San Antonio welcomes one and all, short and tall to Story Time with Santa Paws where the hotel’s Managing Director Tom Netting dons a special Santa suit and reads from several children’s holiday tales. Complimentary cookies, milk, cider and coffee will be served to all two legged story time guests as well as holiday treats for their four legged friends on Tuesday, December 11th and Tuesday, December 18th at 11:00 a.m.
The Grand Hyatt San Antonio’s family (and Fido) friendly holiday campaign is designed to make the season merry and bright, while raising awareness of their community partners and their missions - the San Antonio Humane Society, the San Antonio Public Library Foundation, and Haven for Hope. The San Antonio Humane Society will bring several adorable, adoptable puppies for the children to love on during the events. Those interested in adopting will be encouraged to visit the San Antonio Humane Society directly to learn more about the adoption process. And since there is no better time than the holidays to share the joy of reading with your family, the San Antonio Public Library Foundation will offer library card registration and enrichment program details. On display, guests can view the whimsical oversized chocolate sculpture created by Grand Hyatt San Antonio’s award-winning pastry chef Daniel Keadle. The sculpture design will pay tribute to Haven for Hope, the hotel’s 2012 Hyatt Community Grant recipient and ongoing community partner.
It will be a joyous winter wonderland for families and pets alike as downtown’s grandest hotel is transformed with thousands upon thousands of lights, holiday decorations, and good cheer.
These events are free and open to the public. Children, parents, grandparents, teachers and students are all invited! Complimentary valet parking is available to story time guests.
