The Bud Light RiverFest Battle of the Bands is a NEW River Walk event that will take place on Saturday, January 12th. From 11am to 6pm, enjoy FREE Live Music on the Arneson Stage as local bands compete for the title of “The 2013 Official Band of the San Antonio River Walk.” Officially replacing the historic Mud Festival, RiverFest will showcase local talent in a National Venue. Finalists are: Broken Buffalo, Smokehouse Guitar Army, Elementos and The Jonathan Garcia Band. Bands will compete for the title of “The Official Band of the River Walk” and $1,000 cash. As The Official Band of the River Walk, they will be invited to perform at all Paseo del Rio River Walk events throughout 2013. The Battle of the Bands will be FREE to the public.
