GRANDE COMMUNICATIONS, a Texas-based broadband communications company that offers Internet, TV and Phone services, will celebrate the Grand Opening of the new location of its San Antonio retail store by awarding $50,000 in scholarships to 14 students from the University of the Incarnate Word. Grande will mark the occasion with a special ribbon cutting ceremony and a drawing for a $100 VISA gift card. The Alamo Heights Chamber of Commerce will welcome Grande to the neighborhood by hosting its monthly mixer event in the new store location, with catering provided by La Fonda Alamo Heights, EZ’s and Baskin Robbins.
