New Braunfels, TX Type of Event: Touring Located between Austin and San Antonio the 29 th annual Tour de Gruene features a Tour ride Saturday Nov. 3 2012 starting at 8:00 am. Tour distances include 10,20,30,35,45,55,& 65 miles routes through the hill county and Guadalupe river valley. The Individual TT starts at 2:00 pm and follows a 10.5 mile course starting and finishing atop Lake Canyon Dam. 30 age, ability, equipment, and gender classes are offered. The early entry fee is $40 for all events. Sunday Nov. 4 is a 27 mile two person team Time Trial which starts at 8:00 am The team event has 50 divisions that include tandems and coed teams. Note Lance Armstrong holds the TTT records set in 2008 with his partner John Koriath. The ITT record is held by Tom Zerbel. All pre registered riders receive a Wurstfest ticket and an event shirt.
