Races: Swim 1.2 Miles, Bike 56 Miles, Run 13.1 Miles The Tall Texan Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event produced by a USAT certified race director. All USAT rules will be enforced. The Tall Texan Triathlon is a long course triathlon that takes place in Boerne Texas. Not for the faint of heart! You will be challenged not only by the distance, but by the hills you will experience along the way. Stand tall as you take on this challenge! 1.2 mile lake swim, 56 mi bike along rolling hills, 13.1mile run (two loops). Time limits will be enforced. The swim cutoff will be 1 hour 10 minutes from the start of the last wave. Athletes not making the cutoff will be DQ'd from the event and not allowed to continue. The bike course time limit is 5 hours after the start of the last swim wave. Athletes not finishing the bike portion will be DQ'd from the event and not allowed to continue. The run course will officially close 8 hours after the start of the last swim wave. Athletes remaining on the course will be allowed to unofficially finish but will officially be DQ'd from the results provided to USAT.
